Synopsis

Shirley will cover what aspects have changed in ITIL V3 and why, together with the benefits that you can achieve by adopting the updated practices.

Speaker Bio

Shirley Lacy is an international authority on configuration management across the life cycle. She was the author of the OGC ITIL (V2) Service Support chapter on Configuration Management and is a member of the British Standards committee for developing the ISO/IEC 20000 IT Service Management standard. For ITIL V3 she was the author of the Service Transition book with Ivor Macfarlane.

She is a director of ConnectSphere, a consultancy and education company that specialises in service management and configuration management solutions. Shirley has extensive experience in service and process improvement across a range of industries and has managed many change, configuration and release management implementations. Shirley is the Vice Chair of the BCS CMSG.
